Sixth Annual Season of Lights Holiday Concert. The December 8, 2012 program is a free holiday concert ALL families can afford and enjoy! An eclectic variety of music styles.
Joining Peter will be Ida Rae Cahana (cantor at Beth Israel and vocalist with Pink Martini) and Ed Krauss on clarinet (co-host of K-Boo Yiddish hour), LaRhonda Steele (Gospel & Jazz singer) and family, Aaron Smith and his One World Choir, John Dodge (guitarist and songwriter), James Schmitt (tenor), Elizabeth Eklund (mezzo soprano), Alton Chung (Storyteller), First Christian Church Choir (director Andrew Willette), and Thousand Waves: Yukiko Yamaguchi (koto), flutist LeeAnn McKenna, Natsuki Suzuki (violin), Sandeep Koranne (sitar) and Sai Karan (tabla).
Held at the First Christian Church, this event also provides an opportunity for generous contributions to the Jewish Family and Children Service; an organization which serves the needs of poor families and children – no matter religious background.
